Turning incoming wholesale orders into reviewed drafts
A simulation of reading an incoming wholesale order, extracting its line items, and preparing a sales-order draft for a person to check.
Concept status: This is an independent exploration, not a customer deployment or validated product. The example customer, email, catalog and order data are fictional. No purchase order is submitted and no measured savings are claimed.
What the simulation explores
The example starts from a fictional customer email and maps its requested products and quantities into a draft. A reviewer can inspect the source and resulting fields before simulating approval. The goal is to make ambiguity and human review visible in the interaction rather than presenting extraction as an unquestioned final order.
Why investigate this workflow?
Email order entry can be a focused automation opportunity where the same facts move between a message and a business system. The prototype frames a possible first step: structure the request and expose the draft for correction before a real order is committed.
Limits and next evidence
The demo uses no mailbox, catalog, inventory, pricing, ERP, or order-management connection. It does not measure accuracy, exception rates, implementation cost, or customer demand. Before building a production system, the concept needs observation of actual order formats, catalog matching rules, exception handling and the cost of mistakes.
